Mexico

We had a great time in Mexico with family and friends. Maya loved swimming in both the ocean and the pool, and said her favorite part about Mexico was "going up and down in the big waves". She had lots of fun with her cousin Jackson. Caleb learned to crawl while we were there and also enjoyed his swimming time.

Happy Halloween!

Maya and Caleb got in some Halloween fun before we went to Mexico - we got to go to a party, and even did a bit of early trick or treating! Maya decided she preferred her monkey costume from last year, even though she had fairy wings, a crown and a tutu from Grandma!! Maybe next year!

Caleb is already learning lots from his most favorite person in the world!

Monkey Boy

Caleb is close to crawling, and in the meantime wiggles and rolls his way all over the house. Sitting up, however? No time for that, BORING!

Fall Walk

Caleb has really been enjoying walks in the backpack - he's so big its a great workout for mom and dad too!

Bird Feeder

Maya loves helping when its time to fill the bird feeders. She already knows a few birds by name and also runs for the bird book to match the picture to the bird if she sees one in the back yard.

Couch Potatoes

Caleb is already watching football with his dad! Thanksgiving traditions start early.

High Chair

Caleb got his first tooth this week - so he graduates to the highchair with some cheerios! He mostly plays with them and knocks them around, but we're certain eventually one will make its way into his mouth.

Snow Day

Winter has come early, and the first overnight snowfall was very exciting for Maya - she was out playing in her pjs as soon as it was light enough!

Zoo

A snowy weather day made for a quiet day at the zoo with gram and grampy for Jackson, Maya and Caleb. It was a great opportunity to see a lot of the animals up close and personal!

Maya loves singing songs and can pass the time on a long drive with all her favorites...
