Paddling at Lake Lillian

We had a lovely day at Lake Lillian today. Tried out the canoe for the first time with both kids. Caleb had a great time, as long as he had a snack in hand - it is tough for the little guy to sit still! Maya on the other hand was a keener, and really loved paddling "all by herself".Our friends Cam and Renee were most ambitious with three kids under 5, including a baby sitting in her bumbo! We followed the excursion with a picnic and some minnow hunting at the beach.

Kendra and Mike's Wedding

Gerri's cousin Kendra was married last weekend at a beautiful wedding in Banff. Maya was so excited to dance, dance, dance - especially after her great-Autie Lori gave her the ultimate princess dress! She had lots of offers from dance partners, but the only one she had eyes for was Jackson!

Baby Chec Visit

Maya and Caleb were lucky to have their cousin Chec, and Kip and Kelly (Tip and Telly) come to visit last week!

Canada Day Parade

As usual the Canada Day Parade in Invermere was great! Caleb and Maya waved their flags and collected candy and frozen treats from the floats.

Camping Weekend

We had a great camping weekend at Kikomun Creek Prov Park in late June, to celebrate Grandpa's birthday and the start of summer, finally! Caleb and Mike and I slept in the boler and Maya got to sleepover in Grandpa and Grandma's big trailer - lucky kid!

Father's Day Hike

We had an excellent Father's Day hike and picnic in banff with Grampy and Gram!Maya walked all the way to the falls in Johnson Canyon. Her favorite part was when grampy took her through the cave to see the waterfall up close - and get sprayed! (Mike was travelling for work so had to celebrate his father's day earlier in the week).
