Camping Weekend

We celebrated grandpa's birthday at Kikkoman Creek provincial park again this year - lots of fun, including the second annual waterfight! Grandpa surprised us with some big guns!

We had some nice days this week and last week at Maya's preschool. There was a graduation day with some performances by the kids, and then a hiking day where we collected wildflowers in the meadow outside their classroom. Caleb was so proud to go for a whole afternoon at school and sit beside his big sister!

Visiting Jackson and Ruby

Maya and Mom took a girls roadtrip to visit baby Ruby and Jackson. We had a great time and lots of baby snuggles! Maya was very proud to hold her baby cousin. Jackson and Maya played hard and loved being together again - we think they look like little twins - almost more alike than their own siblings!

Look, no training wheels!

Maya has been asking to take off her training wheels - we convinced her to wait until we went camping this weekend and had long, flat roadways to practice on. It was amazing - after a couple of attempts with Michael helping her, she took off on her own and by the end of the day was doing loops around the campground!

Spring Camping

First camping trip of the season and it was very fun! The kids slept in their bunk beds in the boler and everyone actually slept well! We did a lot of biking, with Maya mastering no training wheels and Caleb going off-road on the run bike all in one weekend. A trip to the beach capped it all off!

Soccer Stars

Our kids both love the tot soccer program...here are some shots of Maya and Caleb doing the warm up stretches and showing off. Caleb is wearing his official Italian soccer jersey courtesy of Grandma and Grandpa!
