Pedley Pass

It was a stunning fall day today and so we spent the day hiking as a family in Pedley Pass. It was a real achievement for the kids - Maya hiked the whole way to the pass and back, and Caleb did a mix of hiking and riding in the carrier backpack. The larch were golden and the views from the top were fantastic. Mike and I have been up there many times but today felt especially great to be there with our kids.

First day of school

Maya's one of the big kids at preschool this year! She even packed her own backpack and picked out her own outfit...

Hoodoo Hike

Those familiar with the columbia valley know the hoodoos down by Fairmont...on the weekend we hiked to the top with some friends. Quite the baby brigade! Good fun was had by all, enjoyed the weather and great view.
