Badger's Christmas Fiesta

Maya's preschool has been learning about North and South America, so held a Mexican Christmas party complete with Mexican Hat Dance and a pinata! Maya got to go to two parties because she is in four classes per week. Caleb was lucky to participate and even got to dance with his sombrero on..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Backyard Skating Rink

We had such a great skate on Saturday night to break in the family skating pond in the back yard. The kids had a blast and had the hockey sticks out. Since then we've skated every day - thanks Mike for a few weeks of effort to make a perfect rink!

 

 

 

 

Christmas Tree and Baking

Maya Ballet Class

Today was parent viewing day at Maya's ballet class. It was so cute - she is very serious about it and really concentrates!

Caleb Ski Video

Caleb exceeded all expectations on the ski hill Sunday...check him out on the harness. Also can see Maya doing some pretty awesome turns!!

Opening weekend at Panorama and we headed up with the kids for Sunday afternoon. It was Caleb's first big day on skis and he was awesome! He skiied for over an hour, and ended up sking down the longer bunny hill using the harness and coming back up the poma lift - he decided that he was done with the baby magic carpet pretty quickly! After a hot chocolate, he said "mama, ski again please?". Keener!

 

 

 

 

Gingerbread Houses

Gingerbread house time at the Quality Bakery! This is our 4th year we've done this with Maya, and Caleb's in on the action now too - they love this event at our local bakery. Caleb is keen to crush his house with his toy hammer now that he has it home - we are trying to convince him to save it and share it with Santa!

 

 

 

 

Fernie Winter Weekend
