Maya Pre-School Graduation

We were so proud of Maya at her pre-school graduation this week. She is so excited to be going to kindergarten this fall. We were pretty impressed that she was the only pre-school kid included with the kindergarten class to provide a presentation on some world cultures - she made a hat representing India and gave the crowd some facts about her creation. The teacher assigned each child an animal, and read a little description for everyone. Here is what she said about Maya: Maya is a CHIPMUNK Petite but able to take care of herself quite nicely She's here and there and everywhere She is very quick to learn Her delightful chatter makes everyone happy

Grandma's Visit

Grandma visited this week and the kids enjoyed every minute. Highlight was making "stained glass" cookies, a special recipe from a cookbook that arrived in the mail from Oma!
