Bobsled, sprint, biathlon, obstacle course, ski jump....all events at the very fun Olympics day at the nordic ski club.

100th Day

Maya's school celebrates 100th Day each year. The assignment is to bring a project to school that represents the number 100. Last summer in Newfoundland we planned ahead and collected 100 beach rocks at Middle Cove - Maya came up with a very creative way to display her 100 rocks!

Skating with Caleb

Had a great afternoon skating with Caleb today - it seemed like we had the Lake to ourselves!

Sunny Lake Lillian

We've had some great times on Lake Lil' this winter and were happy to share an afternoon with Grandma and Grandpa to try out their x-c skis out for their first session!

Fairmont Ski Race

Maya and Caleb got the chance to ski at Fairmont ski hill in a fun race. Bonus was that our lift tickets included a soak in the hot springs afterwards! Both kids did great on the race despite some pretty cold temperatures! Grandma and Grandpa came along to cheer the little racers and join us for some skiing and swimming.
