Caleb is a solid little guy and at 10 months is already keen to try some walking!! He did his first few steps last weekend and has been experimenting with a bit of walking since then. He is still very speedy crawling so we don't expect him to give that up too soon!

Caleb Around the House
Caleb is into everything these days! He especially loves copying his big sister. He is very close to walking but doesn't like it when you hold his hand, he really wants to do it himself! I guess we have ANOTHER child with a strong independent will!
Torch Day
The Olypmic torch came thru town on Friday with much fanfare. It was a fun day, Maya had been primed at school all about the torch and the olympic rings so was excited to get a pair of red mittens with the rings on them! We even had the chance to do a family photo holding the torch at the community party that followed.

Skating Birthday Party
For Maya's 3rd birthday we had a skating party on the lake with all her little friends and their families. It was a nice mild day, and the campfire in the middle of the skating pond helped. We had a tailgate party with chili, hot dogs and hot chocolate, plus cupcakes of course! It was cute to see all the little ones try their skates - that lasted about 5 minutes - and then most of the time was spent giving sled rides and having lunch!
Birthday Cupcakes
Maya loved decorating her birthday cupcakes with grandma. She was so focused, she decorated all 24 of them herself! Determination!

Dad's Birthday
Maya insisted on a round cake for Michael's birthday. She helped decorate of course! I think Caleb wanted a piece more than anyone.

Ski Bunny
Maya had her first ski day at Panorama today. After 2 runs in between mom's skis, she wanted to go by herself! It was a great day.
