Spark Science Centre

Our visit to Calgary included a trip to the new science centre. It was amazing fun with so many interactive exhibits - for young and old! We stayed for 3 hours and could go back for more.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Busy Town Show

Maya and Caleb had a night out on the town in the big city to see a musical based on Richard Scarry's Busy Town children's books. It was cute, and fun, and so exciting!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Farm Field Trip

We had a great afternoon today on a field trip with Maya and Caleb's preschool to a local farm. We had the run of the place and got to mingle with the baby goats! Not to mention the pigs, cows, chickens, ponies, and everything else fun and exciting. Caleb's only let-down was the lack of sheep. He wondered if maybe grandpa has sheep on his farm? Maya set him straight - "no, just wheat, Caleb!"
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Gardening Season

I'm so lucky to have such willing helpers in the garden! It is funny that Caleb prefers to do his watering with the water gun...

 

 

 

Easter Weekend

A very busy and fun weekend with our Brightwell cousins Jackson and Ruby! Spring skiing, Easter Egg decorating and an Easter egg hunt were the big items on tap, but the real fun was hours of play with our lovely cousins.
