Piano Recital

Maya's first piano recital was a big hit - proud Grandma and Grandpa were there to watch it.

Caleb's 5th Birthday

Caleb had a great birthday party this week to celebrate turning 5 years old. Our theme was "angry birds" and despite some early spring snow in the backyard we had lots of outdoor fun and games. Including a giant slingshot, of course!!

Vancouver Spring Break

We started off spring break this year with a few days in Vancouver. We had a lot of great fun and took in the sights, including Stanley Park and Science World. We lucked out and saw the St. Paddy's day parade on Sunday - right outside our hotel! The kids got a kick out of everything - even taking the bus around downtown is exciting for our little country mice - not to mention the cool water taxis back and forth to granville island!

Tubing Party

Lucky kids got to go tubing at Panorama for a friends' birthday party one Friday afternoon!

Jackrabbit Olympics

Bobsled, sprint, biathlon, obstacle course, ski jump....all events at the very fun Olympics day at the nordic ski club.

100th Day

Maya's school celebrates 100th Day each year. The assignment is to bring a project to school that represents the number 100. Last summer in Newfoundland we planned ahead and collected 100 beach rocks at Middle Cove - Maya came up with a very creative way to display her 100 rocks!

Skating with Caleb

Had a great afternoon skating with Caleb today - it seemed like we had the Lake to ourselves!
