Family Day Snowshoe

The snow in our valley has completely melted! Winter recreation is suddenly challenging. We found some snow in Kootenay National Park this afternoon and had a ton of fun snowshoeing. Perfect way to spend a Family Day afternoon.

Maya at Judo

Maya started with the Judo Club this fall and she absolutely loves it. She is currently working on her white belt.

In this video the kids are doing "sumo" which is a competition where they try to push each other out of bounds on a mat. Nothing too technical here but you can see the competitive nature that Maya brings to every sport!

Happy 8th Birthday Maya!

Maya's 8th Birthday party was great fun - apres ski on Sunday afternoon, a group of her best pals came over for a little bit of dancing, crafting and some floor hockey. She requested an ice cream cake this year, and picked out the theme - soccer, of course! At the end of it all she declared it the Best Birthday Ever.

Christmas Eve/Day 2015

We shared fondue and skating on Christmas Eve with Grandma and Grandpa, and of course enjoyed the treats and presents from Santa on Christmas morning...

Grammy and Grampy visit

We had a beautiful afternoon skating and sledding (check out the new machine! Thanks Grampy!) on Lake Lillian with Grampy and Grammy pre-Christmas.

Christmas Concert

This year was Maya's third and Caleb's first xmas concert at EMP School. They both sang and danced along with their classes and made us very proud!
